Terms and Conditions of Use

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the agreed work, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Payment can be made by:

• Bank transfer
• Cash
• Cheque

Invoices can be provided upon request.

Late payments may result in further work being suspended until the outstanding balance has been settled.

Deposits

For larger jobs or work requiring significant scheduling, a deposit may be required to secure the booking.

Deposits are normally non-refundable if work is cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled start date, unless otherwise agreed.

If work is cancelled more than 72 hours before the scheduled start date, any deposit paid will be refunded.

Access to the Garden

Clients must ensure reasonable access to the garden and working areas at the agreed time.

If access is not possible and work cannot be carried out, Sainsbury’s Garden Services reserves the right to charge for the scheduled visit.

Weather

Work may occasionally need to be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions to ensure safety and the quality of the work.

In such cases a new date will be arranged as soon as possible.

Waste Removal

All green waste created during the work will be cleared and removed from site unless otherwise agreed.

Where possible, garden waste bins provided by the client may be used before removing waste from site.

Any additional waste removal requirements not included in the original quotation may incur additional charges.

Ongoing Maintenance

Regular maintenance visits are carried out on an agreed schedule. If access to the garden is not available at the time of the visit, the visit may still be charged.

Sainsbury’s Garden Services reserves the right to review and adjust maintenance pricing periodically.

Photography

Sainsbury’s Garden Services may take photographs of completed work for use on the company website, portfolio or social media.

These photographs will not include identifiable images of clients or property details without permission.

Insurance

Sainsbury’s Garden Services holds Public Liability Insurance. Copies of insurance certificates are available upon request.

Areas Covered

Sainsbury’s Garden Services operates primarily across Chelmsford, Braintree and the surrounding areas of Mid-Essex.

Changes to Terms

Sainsbury’s Garden Services reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on this website.
